By the time you get to read this, we will have had our Summer Concert at The Round House at Havering-atte-Bower, on Friday 3rd July. Our tickets have sold well, and as expected we would have had an enjoyable evening! Our lovely choir has continued to sing every Wednesday at Budworth Hall (outside the school holidays). We rehearse for future events of course, and work on our core repertoire to perfect note bashing in all the different harmony groups. When we put the harmonies together – well! Wow! The sound is amazing! Even if I say so myself!
I know for a fact that our members are extremely busy people with a positive attitude to life. But sometimes problems get in the way. Then that’s the time to go along to Ongar Singers and warm the heart with the swell of friendship that greets each person. It restores one’s faith in human nature. A simple act I know. Just singing – good for you!
As you can tell, my admiration for Ongar Singers knows no bounds. The fun and laughter from our Corinna, (MD) and Suzanna (Piano) filters down to us.
